Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: January 2026
These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the CheckMyLicense.dev platform, website and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or otherwise using the Service, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Overview (Plain Summary)
CheckMyLicense.dev ("CheckMyLicense", "we", "our" or "us") provides a cloud‑based licensing platform that allows software developers and businesses to generate, manage and verify software licenses. The Service is intended for creators of digital products—such as mobile applications, desktop applications and SaaS tools—who wish to control access to their software. It offers license creation, activation, usage monitoring, version management, metered billing, and analytics.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms incorporate by reference any additional terms, policies or guidelines posted on our website and applicable to specific features of the Service.
3. Company Information
The Service is operated by Haidar Lionel HAJ ALI, trading as Trade't, a sole‑proprietor business. Operational addresses: Saône, France and Hazmieh, Lebanon. Trade't OÜ (an Estonian private limited company) is being incorporated and will assume these obligations upon completion. You may contact us at support@tradet.net
4. Eligibility & Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. To access certain features, you must register an organization account. Each organization designates an administrator who may invite or manage other users based on the subscribed plan. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Description of Service
CheckMyLicense provides tools to generate and manage software licenses, verify the authenticity of licensed copies, monitor usage metrics (e.g., number of active licenses, programs and API hits) and handle subscriptions and overage billing. The Service may be accessed via our portal or via our RESTful APIs and SDKs. We reserve the right to improve, modify or discontinue features at any time. For feature discountinuity you are notified 3 months in advance on our Discord Community Group and by email.
6. Subscriptions, Billing & Payments
6.1 Subscription Plans and Usage Limits
We offer multiple subscription plans:
- Free Plan – Limited access to the Service for evaluation purposes.
- Pay‑As‑You‑Go – Base subscription plus usage‑based charges based on metrics such as programs, active licenses and API calls.
- Growth and Pro Plans – Monthly or annual prepaid subscriptions with defined usage limits and additional features; per‑unit overage charges apply when limits are exceeded.
The specific limits and pricing for each plan are described on our pricing page. Usage is measured automatically by our systems. If you exceed the included allowances of your plan, per‑unit overage charges will apply.
6.2 Merchant of Record
All payments for subscriptions, overages and any other charges are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record ("Paddle"). When you purchase a subscription or are billed for usage, Paddle sells the Service to you and collects payment on our behalf. Paddle will appear as the seller on your invoice or credit‑card statement and will handle VAT, sales tax and any applicable currency conversions. We do not issue invoices directly to end customers and you must not remit payment to us directly. For more information about Paddle's terms, please refer to Paddle's Invoiced Consumer Terms.
6.3 Billing Cycle and Payment Methods
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the selected plan). Usage‑based overage charges are calculated at the end of each billing period and added to your invoice. Paddle will charge your chosen payment method (e.g., credit card or other supported method) for the subscription fee plus any overages. All invoices are due upon receipt. Failure to pay within 15 days may result in suspension of your account; continued non‑payment beyond 30 days may result in termination.
6.4 Automatic Renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel renewal at any time from your account settings or by contacting our support. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period; you will continue to have access until then.
6.5 Overage Charges
If your usage exceeds the limits of your plan, overage fees apply. Overage fees are calculated based on actual usage during the billing period (e.g., number of additional active licenses, programs or API hits) and billed at the applicable per‑unit rate specified on our pricing page. Paddle will invoice and collect payment for overage charges together with your subscription fee.
6.6 Suspension for Non‑Payment
If Paddle is unable to collect payment for any reason (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds), we may suspend your access to the Service. Data may be retained for up to 12 months after termination and will then be permanently deleted. Financial data may be preserved as long as needed by the law of operating countries.
7. Refund Policy
Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle and on a case-by-case basis and may be refused. Paddle will refuse a refund request if we find evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour that entitles Paddle to counterclaim the refund.
This does not affect your rights as a Consumer in relation to Products which are not as described, faulty or not fit for purpose.
7.1 Payment by wire transfer
It's your responsibility to provide Paddle with the correct payment details (your unique bank transfer reference number), Company VAT / sales tax code and order information to avoid delays in your order fulfilment, as we may be unable to reconcile or refund such transactions. Orders, where payments are made via wire transfer, are not protected under the CCA (Consumer Credit Act) and are therefore not eligible for a refund. However, in cases where the transaction amount, including sales tax or where the sales tax refund is above $ / £ / €100, you may be entitled to a refund including the sales tax you paid, at Paddle's discretion.
7.2 Indirect Sales Tax refund policy
If you've been charged sales tax on your purchase and are registered for sales tax in the country of purchase, you may be entitled to a refund of the sales tax amount if permitted by the laws applicable in such country. Sales taxes include VAT, GST, Consumption Tax and others as applicable from time to time. For wire transfers, please refer to the Wire Transfer section above for more information regarding eligibility of sales tax refunds.
You must contact Paddle within 60 days after completing the purchase to be eligible for a sales tax refund. This refund will only be processed upon the provision of a valid sales tax code for your country.
All refund requests received after 60 days from the date of the Transaction will not be processed.
8. Cancellation Policy
8.1 Consumer Right to Cancel
If you are a Consumer and unless the below exception applies, you have the right to cancel this Agreement within 14 days without giving any reason. Your access to the service will stop immediately. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day after completion of the Transaction. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send us your communication concerning your exercise of the cancellation right before the expiration of the 14 day period.
To cancel your order, you must inform Paddle of your decision. To ensure immediate processing, please do so by contacting us here. Please note that in respect of subscription services your right to cancel is only present following the initial subscription and not upon each automatic renewal.
You also have the right to inform us using the model cancellation form below or by making any other clear, unambiguous statement through our available communication channels. If you use our "Contact Us" form online, we will communicate acknowledgment of receipt of your cancellation request to you without delay.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this Agreement.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction and you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

8.2 Cancellation of Running Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting our support. Cancellation prevents automatic renewal; it does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. You will remain responsible for any unpaid usage or overage fees incurred prior to cancellation. Your cancellation will take effect at the next payment date. There are no refunds on unused subscription periods.
8.3 Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute without first contacting us to resolve your concerns, we reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and refuse future service.
9. License & Acceptable Use
CheckMyLicense grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business or personal software licensing needs. You agree not to:

13. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you fail to pay amounts due, violate these Terms, abuse the Service or use it in a manner inconsistent with our policies or applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, no refunds will be issued for any remaining period except as described under Section 7 and 8. Upon termination, we will retain your data for up to 12 months for potential reactivation or as required by law, after which it will be deleted.
14. Limitation of Liability
